Spring is upon us! So, it’s time to revamp our employee spotlight questionnaire and celebrate a new round of employees. This week, it is our pleasure to celebrate Nicole Bridgham, who wears two hats as the Training and Marketing Manager. Nicole is in charge of teaching new partners how to utilize the Mediabox systems, as well as explaining the functionality to their licensee and agent end users. As the Marketing Manager, Nicole is tasked with planning and executing all PR and Marketing initiatives and overseeing the Mediabox exhibitions at licensing trade shows, most recent being Licensing Expo 2018. Keep reading to find out more about Nicole with our new set of questions:
1. If you could have dinner with 3 people, dead or alive, who would you choose?
I would love to have dinner with three of my favorite authors: Sylvia Plath, Gillian Flynn and Maya Angelou.
2. If you won $30,000, how would you spend it?
$30,000 would make a nice down payment for a sailboat.
3. Most embarrassing moment?
I was invited by a friend to eat dinner at the home of a lovely older couple in southern France. My French wasn’t great at the time, but I could carry a conversation. At one point, the couple remarked how good my friend’s appetite was, which is a compliment in France. I agreed, adding that my friend would eat anything except beets. “He really hates beets!” Since I didn’t know the French word for “beets,” I simply used the English word, with a little French accent. Every fork stopped in midair, and then everyone erupted in laughter. That’s when I learned that in the French language, the word “beet” is the most vulgar way to express the… ahem … male anatomy.
4. If you could choose any super power, which would you have?
I’d like the power of invisibility. If that’s not available, the ability to clean the house with the snap of my fingers would do.
5. If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Scuba diving in Palau is on my Travel Bucket List.
6. What phobia do you have?
I’m afraid I don’t have any phobias. 😊
7. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I’m one certification course into learning to sail a sailboat.
8. What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
The best gift I’ve received recently is my engagement ring!
9. What is something you learned in the last week?
Last week I completed a 3-day course to learn the ins and outs of Google Adwords.
10. What is your personal philosophy?
I believe international travel is essential for personal growth and for the ability to see the beauty in what makes people different, instead of seeing those differences as something to fear.
11. How do you define success?
Success is when you’re in the driver’s seat of your life, no matter what direction you’re pursuing.
12. Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I’m a published short story author. My work has appeared in six anthologies and literary magazines.
