It’s April, but there are no fools here! Join me in celebrating Shane Isaacs, an integral member of the team here at MyMediabox. Shane is the lead developer and architect of Mediabox–RM, our cloud-based solution for Contracts/Rights/Royalty Management, and we think he’s nothing short of a genius. He works with our client partners to define the requirements and path of the system, while managing the development and implementation of those items. He is also the designated MS PowerPoint maker around here, and we love him for it! Read on to find out a little more about Shane.
If you could have dinner with 3 people, dead or alive, who would you choose?
Robin Williams, Frank Sinatra, Stephen King.
If you won $30,000, how would you spend it?
I wouldn’t, I’d invest it.
Most embarrassing moment?
In 6th grade, I was wearing corduroy pants and while roughhousing on the playground during lunch, they split on one inside seam, all the way up the leg and on through half-way down the other. Since there was no one home at my house, I had to go the rest of the day like that, plus walk home after school with my pants completely split open.
If you could choose any super power, which would you have?
Super speed, because Eric runs me ragged.
If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
I think the Australian Outback would be cool, but Savannah, GA is my favorite place.
What phobia do you have?
Spiders. I hate Spiders. Unconditionally.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Play an instrument. I am the most un-musical person there is, but I always wanted to be a Rock Legend.
What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received?
I don’t think there is a worst gift, as the real gift is being considerate enough to think of the other person. The best gift I gave is my wife’s engagement ring. Best gift I received was her saying yes.
What is something you learned in the last week?
How to replace the factory cloth seat covers in my truck with leather ones, which I will be attempting to install this weekend.
What is your personal philosophy?
Be awesome.
How do you define success?
Happiness. I don’t think anything else really matters.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I am a certified Locomotive Engineer and have run trains over a mile in length back and forth between Cincinnati and Michigan.
